My name is Virginia Lazarus manager of Blue Bears Playscheme
I have set up this new venture as I have over thirteen years’ experience of working with children in ‘Play’. I worked for the Play Development Team (Enfield Council) for eleven years running their After School Club and holiday club for children 4-16 years.
I will bring to this service my experience and knowledge of the past thirteen years of providing play and ensuring that the children are central within Blue Bears Play scheme. I am very passionate about children’s learning through play I feel that Play is an important part of their developmental skills.
I currently work as a Play Advisor during the weekends for a company called Kids who provide support and play for children with multiple and complex learning difficulties; I have been involved with this for the past five years. I have had various jobs working with children – Nursery Nurse, Special Needs and Support Worker.,
My Qualifications:

- * BTEC Diploma in Learning to Teach
- * Diploma in PPA
- * Paediatric First Aid Level 3
- * Advanced Safeguarding Children
- * NVQ level 3 in play work
- * Level 2 Food Hygiene<
- Various other qualifications in relation to play
